It has come to my attention that my blog site name is strikingly simular to another; in fact, almost identical.  I am changing my blog site name because I have no interest or desire to infringe n any other person's ideas.  I realize that with those with simular convictions will inevitably express the same ideas.  To be honest, I thought my original blog title was witty and unique.  Evidently not.  This was inadvertant and unintentional.  I'm embarassed by the whole thing and apologize (now I sound like Tom Daschle).  So I've change my blog to "The Maine Republican Hick", because...I can't change the fact that I'm a hick.  So from The Maine Republican Hick who was formerly known as Hick From the Sticks (now I sound like Prince), I'm sorry.  To the Air Force guy ( my dad was a crew chief on the F-100's in Vietnam), it was your's first.  I wasn't trying to draft you.  It was inadvertant and I apologize. (oops, I did it again...wow...I think...I ... just sounded like...Britn...I better shut this down.)
